Are electric fires efficient?
Electric fires convert all their energy to heat in the room and let you enjoy the flame effect with or without heat. Running cost depends on the wattage setting you use.
Do I need professional installation?
Many electric fires simply plug in, but anything involving gas, solid fuel or a flue must be installed by a suitably qualified professional for safety and compliance.
