The Best Monitors
The top-rated monitors on Amazon UK right now: AOC 24B3HA2 24 inch FHD Monitor 120Hz (best overall), PHILIPS 24E1N1100A 23 (runner-up), MSI PRO MP161 E2 15 (best value). All are ranked by genuine customer ratings and review volume, with live Amazon prices.
You'll look at your monitor for thousands of hours, which makes it strange how often it's the afterthought of a computer purchase. This category ranks office, gaming and ultrawide monitors by real customer ratings and review volume, surfacing panels with accurate colour, comfortable brightness and stands that don't wobble when you type. Dead-pixel lottery odds and backlight bleed, the things listings never mention, are exactly what reviewers report. Compare the current favourites below and check live prices on Amazon.
How often this category is on offer: we record Amazon's price once a day. Of the 42 products here with at least two weeks of checks since 4 Sept, 9 showed a discount of 10% or more at every check, 22 never did, and 11 dipped in and out. How we count this

Frequently asked questions
What size and resolution should I get?
27 inches at 1440p is the current sweet spot for desks: noticeably sharper than 1080p without the scaling quirks and cost of 4K. Go 24 inches for tight desks, or ultrawide if you regularly work in two windows side by side.
Do high refresh rates matter outside gaming?
Gaming benefits most, but even scrolling and cursor movement feel smoother at 120Hz and above. If your budget forces a choice for office work, panel quality and ergonomics matter more than refresh rate.
What should I check in monitor reviews before buying?
Consistency. A great monitor model can ship with occasional poor panels, and review volume tells you how often that happens. Also check whether the stand adjusts for height; fixed stands are the most regretted compromise.
