Logitech M705 Marathon Wireless Mouse, 2.4 GHz USB is no longer listed on Amazon. We have kept this page because it was part of our legacy systems shelf, and the comparison below still shows where it stood while it was on sale. The manufacturer says: 3-Year Battery Life: This wireless office mouse features an auto-sleep power-saving mode and on/off switch so you can enjoy up to 3 years (1) of charge on 2 AA batteries. Sculpted with comfort in mind, your wireless computer mouse follows the natural curve of your right hand, and all controls are within your reach. How it compares in Legacy Systems

Across the 43 rated legacy systems products we track, the typical score is 4.4 out of 5. This one sits at 4.3, which is in the bottom quarter of the category. That does not make it a bad buy, but there are better-rated alternatives on the same shelf, so it needs another reason to earn your money.

It carries 16,997 ratings against a category median of 3,352. That is enough of a base to take the score seriously without treating it as settled.

On price it sits in the upper third of a category running from £2.84 to £385, where the midpoint is about £10.23. Paying above the category norm needs a reason beyond the rating, because the score alone does not justify the gap here.
