How it compares in Fishing
Across the 49 rated fishing products we track, the typical score is 4.5 out of 5. This one sits at 4.1, which is in the bottom quarter of the category. That does not make it a bad buy, but there are better-rated alternatives on the same shelf, so it needs another reason to earn your money.
It carries 596 ratings against a category median of 802. That is enough of a base to take the score seriously without treating it as settled.
On price it sits in the middle third of a category running from £2.98 to £34.95, where the midpoint is about £9.99. That is the part of the range where most sensible buys sit, neither cutting corners nor paying for the name.

Key features, as the manufacturer lists them
Taken from the product listing via Amazon's product API. These are the seller's claims, not our test results.
- 4-Section Telescopic Aluminium Pole： 4-stage lightweight aluminium tube retracts to compact 45cm and fully extends to 190cm. Ergonomic non-slip rubber grip offers steady holding with wet hands. Important note: The aluminium pole only supports up to 3kg vertical pull; avoid lifting heavy big fish to prevent bending. Twist lock design firmly fixes each segment to random shrinkage during fishing. Total weight only 0.4kg for all-day portable use.
- Hook-Resistant Coated Hexagonal Nylon Mesh, Gentle Catch & Release： Constructed with fine 4mm smooth coated hexagonal nylon mesh to effectively prevent hooks and trebles from snagging. The soft mesh safeguards fish’s protective slime layer and scales, perfectly suited for catch-and-release angling. The deep 38cm net basket prevents carp, trout and perch from escaping during retrieval, supporting a maximum net load of 10kg for medium and large-sized fish.
- One-Button Foldable Triangular Frame, Ultra Portable: 40*38cm Triangular net frame with spring clip folds flat in one second. Collapsed whole net only 57cm long, lightweight 0.5kg total weight, easy to stow in fishing bags, kayak storage compartments or car boot without occupying space. Non-slip rubber grip keeps steady hold with wet hands.
- Multi-Water & Multi-Species Universal Fishing Net： Perfect for freshwater streams, lakes, rivers and light saltwater fishing, fits shore, wade and kayak anglers. Works great landing carp, trout, pike, bass and catfish; extra use for clearing pond algae, catching dragonflies or aquarium debris cleaning.
- Corrosion Resistant Construction with 1 Year Warranty： Rust-proof aluminium pole and coated nylon mesh resist salt residue after sea trips. All stitching and frame joints are reinforced to avoid tearing. We provide 1-Year manufacturer warranty against factory defects on poles, mesh and folding clips.
