Synology Disk Station DS620slim - NAS server sits in our servers listings, where we rank by how buyers actually rate a product rather than by brand. The manufacturer says: Slot NAS to maximise your productivity at work. 6 drive bays for more flexible RAID configurations with 2.5" HDDs and SSDs. Those are the seller's own claims rather than our testing, so treat them as a starting point. On Amazon it holds 4.5 out of 5 from 109 ratings. How it compares in Servers
Across the 32 rated servers products we track, the typical score is 4.4 out of 5. This one sits at 4.5, which is around the middle of the category. Ratings alone will not separate it from its rivals here, so price and the specifics below matter more than the star count.
It carries 109 ratings against a category median of 16. A rating from a large base is harder to distort and tends to hold up over time, so a high score here means more than the same score on a new listing.
On price it sits in the upper third of a category running from £7.19 to £2467, where the midpoint is about £124. Paying above the category norm needs a reason beyond the rating, because the score alone does not justify the gap here.
