Spear & Jackson 5LPAPS 5 Litre Pump Action Pressure Sprayer sits in our garden tools & watering equipment listings, where we rank by how buyers actually rate a product rather than by brand. The manufacturer says: Fully adjustable wand nozzle from spray to mist, lockable trigger mechanism and water flow regulator. Translucent graduated bottle in litres and fluid ounces for accuracy when filling or mixing within the bottle. Those are the seller's own claims rather than our testing, so treat them as a starting point. On Amazon it holds 4.4 out of 5 from 55,454 ratings. How it compares in Garden Tools & Watering Equipment
Across the 29 rated garden tools & watering equipment products we track, the typical score is 4.4 out of 5. This one sits at 4.4, which is around the middle of the category. Ratings alone will not separate it from its rivals here, so price and the specifics below matter more than the star count.
It carries 55,454 ratings against a category median of 2,512. A rating from a large base is harder to distort and tends to hold up over time, so a high score here means more than the same score on a new listing.
On price it sits in the middle third of a category running from £3.99 to £74.99, where the midpoint is about £11.98. That is the part of the range where most sensible buys sit, neither cutting corners nor paying for the name.
