Mattel Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 Jessie sits in our play figures listings, where we rank by how buyers actually rate a product rather than by brand. The manufacturer says: Haw! The magic of Disney and Pixar's Toy Story movies comes home with this action figure of Jessie, the redheaded cowgirl. She proudly wears the sheriff badge Woody gave her in Toy Story 4. Accurate design and posability, so this toy is ready to help some critters or join her friends on an adventure. Her cowgirl hat is removable. Those are the seller's own claims rather than our testing, so treat them as a starting point. On Amazon it holds 4.8 out of 5 from 1,799 ratings. How it compares in Play Figures
Across the 49 rated play figures products we track, the typical score is 4.6 out of 5. This one sits at 4.8, which puts it in the upper quarter of the category rather than level with it. Where almost everything is rated well, the gap at the top is small in points and large in practice. That places it 4th of the 49 we rank here.
It carries 1,799 ratings against a category median of 1,331. That is enough of a base to take the score seriously without treating it as settled.
On price it sits in the lower third of a category running from £2.50 to £52.16, where the midpoint is about £13.99. Cheaper than most while rating at or above the category norm is the combination worth looking for, and it is the main argument for this one.
