Overview

This Ailun set gives you three tempered glass protectors for the 6.1-inch iPhone display, each 0.33mm thick with an oleophobic coating that shrugs off fingerprints and oily smears. The glass keeps touch sensitivity high, so scrolling and typing feel much as they did before. Three in a box means spares for the inevitable clumsy moment. With a 4.5 average from more than 600,000 buyers it is an excellent, safe bet, though alignment during fitting takes a steady hand. Check the latest price on Amazon.

How it compares in Phones

Across the 30 rated phones products we track, the typical score is 4.4 out of 5. This one sits at 4.5, which is around the middle of the category. Ratings alone will not separate it from its rivals here, so price and the specifics below matter more than the star count. That places it second of the 30 we rank here.

It carries 651,663 ratings against a category median of 26,864. A rating from a large base is harder to distort and tends to hold up over time, so a high score here means more than the same score on a new listing.

On price it sits in the lower third of a category running from £3.99 to £26.99, where the midpoint is about £8.49. Cheaper than most while rating at or above the category norm is the combination worth looking for, and it is the main argument for this one.
