Our verdict
Two outdoor crowd-pleasers, two very different lifespans. TOSY's flying ring has 12 LEDs, a soft rim safe for catching from age five, and claims flights up to 100 feet, all for a couple of pounds more than the bubbles. Gazillion's two-litre bubble solution is the marginally cheaper of the two, non-toxic, no-stain and comes with a wand. Ratings are close (4.2 vs 4.3) and both have enormous review counts north of 16,000. The honest split: bubbles suit younger children and get used up, whilst the ring suits mixed ages and lasts for years, especially for dusk sessions where the glow is the whole point.
