Our verdict
Different tools entirely, though both feed music to a room or a car. Anker's Soundcore 2, the dearer of the pair by roughly four times, is the complete package: 12W stereo, BassUp processing and IPX7 waterproofing, backed by an excellent 4.7 from 143,000 reviews. Syncwire's braided aux cable costs a fraction of that, rated 4.5 by 118,000 buyers, and simply connects a phone to anything with a 3.5mm socket, surviving a claimed 15,000 bends. If you own speakers or a car stereo with an aux input, the cable is the cheapest upgrade in audio. If you own nothing that makes noise, the Anker is superb for the money.
